There is a nature park close to the city, green hands with finger-like fields hugging channels of the last untrouched part of the Danube delta.

Through storytelling about the legends of the Ottoman empire, we will take you on a gastronomic journey through time.
You will experience the surge of excitement as human’s best friend starts foraging for an edible black treasure known as the truffle. Crossing numerous water channels over tree trunks and wooden bridges, we’ll stumble on wild game’s paths. Wild boars and deer are common occurrences in Lonjsko polje nature park.
Oak forests found here are perfect habitat for wild life, whilst also many types of wild birds are located right in the middle of the truffle hunting area. From pheasants and snipes to storks and blue harrons, very often they will brake the tension of the truffle hunt with jumping from bushes or channels couple of metters away.
Organic honey with truffles and other truffle products tasting will be arranged at the end of the journey as a part of the tour.
Truffle products will be available for purchase on-site.
