Croatia's closest thing to BC North Shore experience!

Wel,l we won't ride man-made bridges but the dense forest and harsh terrain provide a similar experience of remoteness.

This tour is perfect for late spring and summer months as the temperature in the mountains will be between 20-25 degrees celsius.

National Park Risnjak with it's wide network of singletrack will be one of the highlights of this adventure. This is where we will have an opportunity to try our luck at bear monitoring from the safety of bear obesrvation decks and lodges built close to the park. Followed by stunning views on Kvarner bay, we'll take a ride towards lake Fužine where numerous springs, sun-bathed meadows and streams will reconnect us with Mother Nature.

We will camp on the open plains under the clear blue sky, and also next to the mountain lakes and river gorges giving us the opportunity for the early morning dip.

Gorski kotar area is home of the lynx, one of its the largest preserved population of european lynx in Europe and the Balkans. Sense of pure wilderness will follow us all the time where we will ride singletrails towards White and Samarian rocks, a special nature reserve. This is one of the most untouched areas in Croatia and the sharp and high limestone peaks look like a hands reaching for the sky, trying to be free of all earthly constraints. 

We will venture towards mainland a bit more, riding towards Klek mountain, a bewitched mountain and it's peak overlooking the town of Ogulin, a place of many legends about withces and folk stories. Riding up and down Klek mountain will be a unique experience as we will ride downhill during the night, and we advise not to look back but to focus on the roots and rocks :).

Terrain will constatly be mixed between harsh limestone singletrack and open fire roads to winding singletrack through dense pine forest bringing a mix of terrain to the menu.

Daily range will be 60-100 km.
