Last untouched area of the Danube delta will leave you breathless.

To state you will travel in time is an understatement, as every sight, action or frame caught with your eye will literally take you back in time. Time here really slows down and this is what usually is the first feeling our visitors have.

Stand up paddling on the calm waters of the alluvial plains which means lakes, channels, swompy areas while the wild horses, traditional black turopolje pigs, and podol cows graze on the shores and meadows next to the water line. Very few cars pass by through the park itself, making the time aspect really hard to grasp.

Abundancy of wild life is spicing up the atmosphere as red deer and wild boars live right next to the cattle with an abundance of food from the oak forests.

While we will paddle along the shore, the feeling of heritage is enriched by sights of traditional wooden architecture of Lonjsko polje. This is especially visible in Krapje village through which we will be paddle boarding, stopping by to check out the old buildings. Some of the houses are more then 300 years old, and were built using oak beams which were 100-150 years old at the moment of building.

Birdwatching is a very popular activity here, attracting many nature and bird lovers from all over the world as Cigoc village is also called stork village. One of the largest population of storks in Europe nests here in Cigoc, and while stand up paddling we will be constantly observing storks flying to their nests bringing food to their youngs.

The nicest area for us to paddle board are the small channels with canopy of branches providing a really unique experience of the surroundings.

We will be camping in the same spot every night but on off-days, dedicated to truffle hunting and extra activities we will be moving on the road.

Local delicacies will be served every day, from organic eggs, homemade bread, to local cold cuts and many different types of cheese and sour cream.

This tour is for the ones that like to be fully immersed in the time they spend on the water, combined with culture, heritage, untouched nature and local delicacies.
